Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the My Value App website and subscription service (“Service”) operated by My Value Applications, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts for third parties.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Free Trial
We offer a 30-day free trial for new subscribers. No credit card charge is made during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan—either monthly or annual—based on the plan you selected at signup. If no plan was selected, the subscription converts to the monthly plan. You may switch between monthly and annual plans at any time through your account settings.
Monthly Subscription
The monthly subscription fee is $14.95 per month, billed on a recurring basis. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
Annual Subscription
The annual subscription fee is $149.95 per year, billed once per year on a recurring basis. The annual plan offers a discount compared to the monthly rate. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
Payment
You authorize us to charge your payment method on the renewal date of each billing cycle. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation is straightforward and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to the Service through the end of that paid period. No refunds are issued for partial months or unused portions of an annual subscription period, unless required by applicable law.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend access until payment is resolved.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all data and content you input into the Service (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your User Content to train machine learning models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy (myvalueapp.com/privacy).
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your User Content and for ensuring you have the right to submit it.
Confidential Information
You agree not to upload, input, or share any information that is confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret material belonging to your employer or any other organization, unless you have explicit written authorization from that organization to do so. This includes, but is not limited to, internal business strategies, client lists, financial data, personnel records, and proprietary processes. You are personally responsible for any unauthorized disclosure that results from User Content you submit to the Service. MVA is not liable for damages arising from your upload or sharing of company confidential information.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its content, features, and functionality—including but not limited to the Meaningful Competence® tools and methodology—are owned by My Value Applications, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MY VALUE APPLICATIONS, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice of material changes by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
